Welcome Pack

Welcome

Welcome to your Introduction to Equine Massage course and thank you for choosing to study with Equine Distance Learning. We have had excellent feedback from students who have completed this course and we are looking forward to working with you as you progress through it.

What do I do first?

Have a read through the introducing the team, and the copyright and disclaimer documents. Have a think about when is a good time for you to study so that you allocate slots where you have no distractions. This will help you to complete each section and ultimately complete the course.

How the course works

You will need to download your anatomy pack that you can refer to and use throughout the course. As you make your way through this course you will complete eleven learning activities and be able to access private video clips of various massage techniques being demonstrated. You will need to complete two assessments - one is an online test and the other will require you to submit videos of yourself demonstrating the massage techniques taught in the course.

Join our Community

To get really involved in the Equine Distance Learning community, do join us on Facebook and/or Twitter by liking or following us to find out how other students are getting on and compare notes. We also post relevant industry news there and informative posts on all aspects of horse care. You can also comment and ask questions after each lecture and if you would be kind enough to introduce yourself in the comments below (along with where you found out about us), it is a good way to get to know other students on the same course.

If you need help

We have tried to make the student experience as smooth and easy as possible but if you do have any questions along the way then either ask them by commenting throughout the course or you can email [email protected] and she will be happy to help. You can also call us on 01256 855320. We are very excited to have you studying this course with us and joining our 'family' of students!

Enjoy the course! Best Wishes,

Emily, Sarah and Kerry
